SimulStat is growing. And one reason is because more Pharmaceutical, BioTech and Medical Device companies are seeing measurable results and immediate ROI by hiring the right contract programming staff.
Andrew Puricelli, SimulStat’s Director of Business Development, tells the story of how a contract programming team helped a San Diego Pharmaceutical company get back on track and meet pending deadlines.
“A few months back we received a request from a mid-sized pharmaceutical company based out of San Diego for two senior level contract statistical programmers. Our client was scrambling for resourcing solutions after they found out the CRO they had originally outsourced the programming work to was completely behind on the deliverable timelines and wouldn’t be able to complete the work on time. The two contract SAS Programmers needed to have CDISC-SDTM, ADaM production and validation (both safety and efficacy), and tables/figures/ listings production and validation experience to help our client prepare for a critical NDA submission. Our client was very apprehensive about starting the search because in the past they had bad experiences working with contract statistical programmers. They also knew finding senior level SAS programmers that can work onsite in San Diego isn’t always the easiest task.
In this case, we reached out to our network and identified four senior level statistical programmers that were trusted resources we’ve known for years. In the end, our client selected two of the four candidates and they are now very close to completing the submission and are back on schedule with their deliverables timeline!”
