Qualifications:• Masters degree in Epidemiology or other subject with high epidemiologic content
• Experience in epidemiologic research
• General project planning and management experience
• Experience using large claims-based and/or EMR databases
• Experience conducting literature reviews, database evaluations, drafting code lists and writing analysis plans/protocols
• Experience creating code lists for medications and diagnoses using ICD codes, HCPCS, NDC, etc. and developing analysis plans
Preferred Qualifications:
• Doctorate in Epidemiology or other subject with high epidemiologic content
• 3 years experience with masters degree
• Experience in the design, execution, and analysis of epidemiology studies within Pharmaceutical or Public Health setting
• Experience in research to support drug development
• Experience in epidemiological project planning and management
• Experience communicating epidemiological information (written and oral)
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
• Prior experience using SEER or other disease registries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for conducting high-quality epidemiologic research to support product strategy with a variety of therapeutic areas
• Supports relationships with key leaders in epidemiology
• Provides input into epidemiology product specific and other cross-functional team meetings
• Stays abreast of the latest developments in the field of epidemiology and drug development and contributes to the field
