Meet Leonard Gold, Director of Business Development at SimulStat. Leonard joined the team recently to help grow our East Coast client base for Data Science and Biometrics outsourcing.
His job entails “working hard to identify and reach clients who currently need support with statistical programming, and biostatistics, and find the perfect made-to-fit solution that works best for them,” he says. “I leverage SimulStat’s already great reputation to grow our network of contacts, and clients, in the eastern part of the United States.”
Leonard brings to his new role over 14 years of experience selling clinical development capabilities to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. That kind of deep industry experience is one reason our clients look to us to deliver the most effective solutions for the statistical programming and biostatistics aspects of their clinical trials—including drug development and support, support of the product life cycle, and strategic guidance and leadership.
His experience also helps him meet the challenges he faces as Director of Business Development. One of the biggest challenges, he says, is “balancing competition within the marketplace for highly-skilled resources, so that the timing, and terms and conditions, are in line with our clients’ varying requirements.” From unique client requests to industry requirements and regulations, tight timelines and evolving technology, we pride ourselves on being flexible and responsive to our clients’ needs and priorities.

After my kids, not in any particular order, I love different music genres, weight lifting, jogging, cooking, the outdoors, travel, museums, fiction and political science.”
