Business Development Manager
SimulStat Incorporated is looking for a motivated, energetic, and focused Business Development Manager to join our growing team. SimulStat provides contract real-world data analyst, health economic outcomes research analysts, statistical programmers, biostatisticians, epidemiologist and data managers to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. The Business Development Manager will establish/oversee accounts across the United States and will be based remotely in the United States.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prospect, call on, and conduct meetings with new and existing customers to identify contract staffing needs.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to understand customer’s hiring needs, suggest appropriate staffing solutions, and working side-by-side with the recruiting team to deliver candidates meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Establish master service agreements between client and SimulStat.
  • Build and maintain relationships with client hiring managers to maximize the potential for candidate placements.
  • Manage the process of reviewing/presenting resumes, scheduling interviews, and completing client paperwork (work orders, statements of work etc.) for successful placements of candidates.
  • Attend and exhibit at industry conferences, requiring some overnight travel

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of business to business sales experience
  • Absolute passion for sales
  • Driven and motivated to be successful
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and Word)
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior business development experience for a staffing company
  • Prior business development experience for a pharmaceutical/biotech staffing company
