Business Development Manager
SimulStat Incorporated is looking for a motivated, energetic, and focused Business Development Manager to join our growing team. SimulStat provides contract real-world data analyst, health economic outcomes research analysts, statistical programmers, biostatisticians, epidemiologist and data managers to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. The Business Development Manager will establish/oversee accounts across the United States and will be based remotely in the United States.
Job Responsibilities
- Prospect, call on, and conduct meetings with new and existing customers to identify contract staffing needs.
- Utilize a consultative approach to understand customer’s hiring needs, suggest appropriate staffing solutions, and working side-by-side with the recruiting team to deliver candidates meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Establish master service agreements between client and SimulStat.
- Build and maintain relationships with client hiring managers to maximize the potential for candidate placements.
- Manage the process of reviewing/presenting resumes, scheduling interviews, and completing client paperwork (work orders, statements of work etc.) for successful placements of candidates.
- Attend and exhibit at industry conferences, requiring some overnight travel
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree
- Minimum of 3 years of business to business sales experience
- Absolute passion for sales
- Driven and motivated to be successful
- Exceptional organization skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and Word)
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prior business development experience for a staffing company
- Prior business development experience for a pharmaceutical/biotech staffing company
